Code of conduct

What every story guarantees, and the few lines that hold for everyone. · Effective 20 August 2026 · VOX NOVA LTD (company number 17406116), England and Wales

Vyenne writes adult romance from your choices, at the heat level you choose. A short, fixed set of boundaries applies to every story. This is what they are, how they're checked, and what happens if they're crossed.

Every story is adult, fiction, and consensual.

The characters are invented adults, and desire is always mutual. That holds beneath every choice you make - it isn't a setting, and it can't be switched off.

1Your story, your call

You set the cast, the heat, the themes and the pace. You can also set your own limits in your account: anything you mark is never written into a story, and never offered to you again. Your stories are private from other users and never sold.

2What's never written

Whatever you choose, a Vyenne story never contains any of this. Asking for it won't produce a story.

No one underage
Every character is a grown adult - no exceptions, however it's phrased.
No one real
The cast is invented for you - never a real, identifiable person, in words or in cover art.
Nothing forced
Desire is always mutual. Nothing coerced, and nothing that uses drink or drugs to take consent away.
No family
Lovers are never actual family.
Nothing cruel
No graphic violence, gore, or cruelty written to disturb.
Nothing hateful
No hate speech or harassment, and never exposing a real person (doxxing).
Nothing illegal or harmful
No animals, no real-world harm, nothing the law forbids or that reads as a “how-to”.

3How it's checked - before and after

Every story passes two checks, automatically. You never have to ask for them, and there's no way to turn them off.

Check one · the request

Before a word is written

Your request is checked first. If anything in it crosses a line above, it's stopped right there - nothing is ever written.

Check two · the story

Before you ever see it

The finished story is checked again, on its own, before it reaches you - because a request that looks fine can still produce something that isn't.

It fails safe. If a check can't be sure, the story simply doesn't run - you're asked to change a detail, and never shown a half-checked page. The same checks cover the cover art.

4If a line is crossed

If a request crosses a boundary, it stops and you're asked to change it.

Deliberate or repeated attempts to get past these boundaries can suspend or end your account.

Anything involving a minor is treated with zero tolerance: it ends the account immediately and is reported to the authorities, as the law requires. There is no second chance, and no mode that allows it.

5Found something wrong? Report it

If a story ever contains something it shouldn't, report it from the story itself. It goes straight to a person, and it helps the checks above catch what automation missed.

6Your privacy

Your stories and limits are private from other users. Vyenne and its providers access them only where needed to create your stories, provide support or keep the service safe. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
